Calen Monahan is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review Volume 53. She is a 2L J.D. candidate and will graduate in May of 2020 with an interest in criminal and international law. She is currently employed at Bassil & Budreau, LLP as a law clerk to criminal defense attorney, Janice Bassil.
In addition to her role on the New England Law Review, Calen is the secretary of Phi Delta Phi, as well as a member of Criminal Law Society, International Law Society, and CORI Initiative.
Prior to law school, Calen was a judicial intern for the Honorable Glenn T. Suddaby, Chief U.S. District Judge, N.D.N.Y. Calen’s time as President of Niagara University’s Model U.N. chapter led to her fascination of international law and human rights. Calen spent most of her life growing up in Syracuse, New York and received her B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Niagara University in 2017.
