Mya’I Thomas is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review Volume 54. She is a 2L J.D. candidate and will graduate in May 2021 with an interest in entertainment and intellectual property law.
Following her 1L year, Mya’I secured two summer opportunities. During her experience with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker LLP, she worked in insurance defense litigation covering a variety of practice areas such as personal injury, employment, and intellectual property law. Mya’I also worked at the Law Office of Eva C. Ovalle, PLLC, further honing her skills in the area of personal injury law. In addition to her role on the New England Law Review, Mya’I also serves as a Campus Outreach Co-chair for the Boston Bar Association bridging the gap between the BBA and New England Law | Boston students. She is also a member of the National Black Law Student Association and Entertainment and Sports Law Organization. Mya’I is from Oakland, California, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Legal studies from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2016.
