Eric Ferreira

Eric J. Ferreira (he/him) is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review, Volume 58.  He is a candidate for Juris Doctor, 2025.

Eric has served as a police officer for over eighteen years and is currently a Captain with the Methuen Police Department, where he oversees the Professional Standards and Accreditation Division, the Criminal Investigations Division, the Legal Division, the Support Services Division, and the Special Projects Office.  He is also in the process of retiring from the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he has served over twenty-two years.  Eric hopes to become involved in public policy development and administration.

Eric is originally from Lowell, Massachusetts.  He attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science.  He later attended the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, earning a Master of Science in Criminal Justice.  In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his spouse and two teenage sons and maintaining physical fitness.
