Eric McCarthy
Associate

Eric J. McCarthy (he/him) is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review, Volume 58.  He is an evening Candidate for Juris Doctor, 2025.

Eric works for the U.S. Department of Justice at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Boston.  He works in the Criminal Division, supporting Assistant U.S. Attorneys in the Narcotics & Money Laundering Unit and the National Security Unit.  Eric previously volunteered for Greater Boston Legal Services in the Consumer Protection Unit before joining a private firm specializing in workers' compensation and disability claims.  Eric has interned as a mediator and completed a certificate program with the Social Justice Mediation Institute.

Eric is from Carver, Massachusetts.  He was home-schooled throughout elementary and high school before obtaining his Associate Degree from Quincy College.  Eric received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he majored in legal studies.  In his spare time, Eric enjoys playing music, watching scary movies, and going for runs (especially in the rain).
