Haley Karas

Haley Karas (she/her) is a Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review, Volume 57. She is a 3L Juris Doctor candidate in the full-time day program and will graduate in May 2024.

Haley is a member of the Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Honors Program and the Real Estate Law Society. Her primary interests are criminal and family law. Haley has experience in Personal Injury litigation, where she was responsible for researching, drafting, and writing trial and appellate briefs and motions. Furthermore, she gained experience in Immigration law through drafting petitions for H-1B and O-1 visas. Haley is currently interning at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

Haley is from Macomb, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in International Development and Public Policy and Justice. Outside of law school, she enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
