Julia Pomella

Managing Editor

Julia Pomella is the Managing Editor of the New England Law Review, Volume 55, in charge of overseeing the editing process of all professional and student articles before publication. She is a 3L J.D. candidate and will graduate in May 2021 with an interest in both employment and corporate law.

During her 2L year, Julia completed internships at both the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the United States Attorney’s Office. Over the summer, Julia was employed at Liberty Mutual in their Summer Law Clerk Program. Julia will continue to work part-time as a law clerk for Liberty Mutual throughout the school year. In her position at Liberty Mutual, Julia supports both the Corporate Legal Services group and the Employment, Compensation & Benefits group. In addition to her role on the New England Law Review, Julia is also a member of the Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Honors Program. 

Julia is originally from Marshfield, Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2018. Outside of law school, Julia enjoys spending her time painting, playing guitar, fishing, and playing with dogs.
