Julianne Marder

Julianne Marder (she/her) is a Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a 3L Juris Doctor Candidate and will graduate in May 2024.

Julianne is an intern at the Supreme Judicial Court in the Clerk’s Office for the Commonwealth. In the fall of 2022, Julianne worked as a 3:03 Certified Student Attorney at the New England Law Clinical Office, where she assisted clients in their eviction cases and found her passion for landlord-tenant law. Julianne also has interned at the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project for the Eastern Region Legal Intake, where she screened potential clients for eligibility and provided them with the appropriate resources. These experiences have made her passion for public interest law flourish. 

Julianne is from Randolph, MA. She graduated summa cum laude from Pace University in NYC with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies and minors in History and Economics. Outside of law school, Julianne enjoys reading novels, exploring Boston, and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews.
