Mary Byrne (she/her) is a Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a 3L Juris Doctor Candidate, planning to graduate in May of 2024.

Mary is currently a 3:03 intern at the Worcester District Attorney’s Office. During the summer of 2022 and spring of 2023, Mary interned in the Appeals Unit at the Worcester DA’s Office. Mary will intern with Judge Raffi Yessayan in Fall River and New Bedford District Courts in the fall.

Mary is interested in child advocacy and sexual assault prosecution/legal issues. Mary wrote her Note on revamping Title IX to include comprehensive sex education at a younger age to reduce sexual violence in the US.

Mary is from Auburn, Massachusetts, and focuses on criminal law. Mary is planning on becoming a criminal prosecutor. She likes to read and curate the perfect playlist in her spare time.
