Olivia Chell

Olivia Chell (she/her) is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a Candidate for Juris Doctor, 2025.

In 2021 and 2022, Olivia was a legal intern at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, in Brooklyn, NY. While there, she focused on Matrimonial Law, including divorce proceedings and child custody. In the summer of 2023, Olivia was a legal intern for Honorable Robert K. Holdman, NYS Supreme Court (Ret.), in New York, New York. During her time there, she assisted a retired New York Supreme Court Judge in his general practice of law and monitorships. She was exposed to all aspects of criminal defense cases, including sex crimes and construction fraud. Olivia also worked pro bono regarding NCAA Enforcement Hearings. Olivia is currently the 2L Representative for the Student Bar Association and a member of the Identity Affirmation Project. Additionally, Olivia was the CALI recipient for her Property II course in the Spring of 2023. 

Olivia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended SUNY Cortland, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Law and Justice. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys going to the beach and doing aerial yoga.
