Rachel Modi

Rachel Modi (she/her) is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a Candidate for Juris Doctor, 2025.

In the summer of 2022, Rachel was a law clerk at the immigration firm of Joyce & Associates, where she predominantly focused on asylum cases. Rachel is the Vice President of the South Asian and West Indian Law Student Association, a member of the CORI Initiative, and a member of the If/When/How organization advocating for reproductive rights.    

Rachel is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She attended Indiana State University and graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Legal Studies and Psychology. Before law school, Rachel was a legal assistant at Wabash Valley Survivors Legal Assistance, which primarily focused on family law domestic violence cases. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends and discovering new restaurants and activities around the city.
