Sierra Barnes

Sierra Barnes (she/her) is an Associate Member of the New England Law Review, Volume 58. She is a candidate for a Juris Doctorate, 2025. 

In the Summer of 2023, Sierra worked as a Law Clerk at Beagan Law Office, LLC, a local general practice firm in Medford, Massachusetts. She spent the summer gaining experience in several areas of civil law, especially contracts, property, medical malpractice, and personal injury.

Sierra is originally from Illinois but has spent all her adult life in Michigan. She attended Grand Valley State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Sustainable Agriculture. She also graduated with three minors: Business, Spanish, and Hospitality Tourism Management. Since she was old enough to work, Sierra has worked in the restaurant industry; she has held every position, from busser to bartender. Sierra's favorite things to do with her free time are dance, bake, and read.
